The Ace’s Heart Award is given to annually to an individual who goes above and beyond, year after year, to help the foundation meet its goals. This year we presented this award to Merilyn Sullivan of Eventus. Merilyn began helping with Face Off for Ace back in 2008. Prior to that we tried someone new every year in a search for a perfect partner. Merilyn had been organizing the annual Mark Bavis golf tournament for many years. Merilyn came onboard with us to coordinate the auction part of the evening and to bring her staff on the day of the event to set everything up and greet all the guests and check out the auction. She’s a godsend. She’s efficient, even tempered, fun to work with, and excellent at everything she does. She is very dedicated to our foundation and is in touch all year-round to help in any way that she can. She is one-in-a-million and we absolutely couldn’t put on our annual Face Off for Ace event without her help. She’s a friend and we want her to know how valued she is with this small token of deep admiration.
